About
Books that question what we’re told.
Timbuktu Publications is the publishing imprint of Timbuktu Studios Pvt Ltd, a company based in Delhi, India, working in film production and publishing.
The name comes from Timbuktu, a city once famous for its libraries and handwritten manuscripts. We want to be that kind of place for new books: somewhere ideas are written down, argued over and kept.
We started with two books by our founder, Pritpal Kalsi. Next, we are opening our doors to other authors, writers and creators, with our own editing, design, distribution and marketing behind every book.
